Welcome to the Mississippi Center for Education Innovation (MSCEI). Our mission is to transform education in Mississippi through community and family engagement, early childhood education, teacher quality, and leadership development.
The Center has the responsibility to harness its efforts and resources to meet three bold goals set by the State Board of Education. #1. To reduce the dropout rate to 13% by 2013. #2. To reach the national average on national assessments by 2013. #3. To ensure that all students exit third grade reading on grade level by 2020.
