Ayatti Hatcher

What Ayatti Does at CEI ?

Ayatti D. Hatcher is married to LaQuita Hatcher and they are the parents to two darling daughters, Ayla (5) and Alaina (1). Ayatti attends CrossRoads International House of Worship in Jackson, where he is the president of the men’s ministry. Ayatti feels that the children of today could use more time in touch with nature and less time plugged in. It is his goal to instill a love for art, nature and gardening in the children and adults alike. He is an artist and avid gardener.
He entertains himself with woodworking projects and ever imaginative ways of increasing his knowledge. He enjoys nature and the great outdoors.

Ayatti attended Tougaloo College, where he received a B.S. in Biology. He later attended East Mississippi Community College, where he received a certificate as a Healthcare Assist. From there he attended Hinds Community College, where he received an Associates Degree in Graphic Design Technology.

Over the years he and his wife have developed a love for traveling. Ayatti’s dream is to one day plant community gardens all over the world, to include fruit orchards and native plants, fruits and vegetables. He feels that we have become so reliant on others for our food, it is time we rely on ourselves to be stewards over the earth.
